The donation was presented by Sam Tudor of The Tudor Group, one of the ‘Official Partners’ of the start-up. Sam commented “At The Tudor Group, we have supported many grassroots clubs, so this opportunity to partner with wefundgrassrootssport.com is the ideal way to continue our commitment to growing amateur and youth sport.”
This is the first of many donations wefundgrassrootssport.com will be providing to amateur clubs in order to aid their growth and development.
In providing targeted donations, centred around the purchasing of vital equipment, wefundgrassrotssport.com ensures the funds are spent on areas of need.

Mr Ridge added: “Too often, clubs are left short of crucial equipment of the standard required, and are instead having to rely on second-hand products or volunteers dipping into their own pockets.
“This kind of donation, focused on enabling clubs to purchase the equipment they need, from a trusted supplier of quality goods, is what makes our model work so well, and we are looking forward to helping more clubs in the local area, and the wider region.”

The winner of the first draw, which launched on the 11th of April, will win a full weekend at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in July.
Another of the fundraising initiatives is to connect businesses with grassroots sports through their ‘Official Partners’ scheme helping foster deeper connections within community grassrrots sports and business.
